It is a unique place and experience. Local farmers bring fresh veggies, fruits, preserves, honey, meat, eggs. A few local wineries have their stand as well. And bakers. And florists. Add live music, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.

The Lawrence Farmers market downtown is a great place on Saturday morning to grab some local fare and any fresh veggies, or meats you need for the upcoming week of meals. Many flower retailers for those of you looking to freshen up the house or surprise that special someone. Kettle corn, donuts, tamales, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, cakes, kanbucha, and coffee will keep you nourished for the duration of your exploration. We meet up friends we have made visiting here all summer. Parking is insufficient for the size of the event and you may need to park a few blocks away during peak hours.

Farmer market of my dreams! Love love love it. Great coffee, great vendor, yummy tamales and breakfast burritos, certified organic farmers and overall an amazing community!

I love checking out the local farmers markets! Lawrence has a market almost every day of the week and they are all really great. I dont normally have a free Saturday morning so this was my first time checking this one out. This market was huge! It had everything you could want.. meat, cooked foods, veggies, fruits, coffees, desserts, flowers. Everyone was so friendly and excited to talk about their products! I may need to open up some of my Saturday morning and come back! Prices and produce were amazing!
